Ancient Hacker's Scroll: A Call to Action for the Lunar Apocalypse.

[TBD], 698 A.D.

Salve, Hacker!
If you are reading this scroll, then the day has come. We, your hacky ancestors, foretold this moment centuries before, using our knowledge of the celestials. On the night of the full moon of [TBD], the Earth will face an unprecedented calamity-the moon will fall, bringing about the end of humanity as we know it.
But do not despair, for there is hope!
Assemble on that fateful night. Together, fix up instruments to save our race! To deter the lunar apocalypse!
Hack away, for your and your peers’ lives depend on it!
What will you conjure up? We entrust humanity’s fate to you. Do not let us down, Hacker!
Hoping for the best,
Your Hacky Ancestors

Translated from the original Latin manuscript by the Hack Club team,

Create whatever you want

At Moonlit Hacks, you’re project doesn’t need to be realistic. Work on the projects that’d never make sense IRL, but would be perfect for the specified theme—from an application tracking the different moon phases to a fun game where you shatter the moon to pieces with your laser weapon.

Worried about how you’ll do it all? Fear not; you can always receive 1:1 help from our experienced mentors.

Join a category you love

Choose from 4 different categories each with their own unique challenge and story, whether you want to hack your way to humanity’s survival with the CP or Cybersecurity categories or create the perfect projects for the specified theme with the Web/App and Game development categories.

If none of these four categories peak your interest, you can join the open category where you can let your imagination run wild- You think a robot can help us save humanity?

Hackathons aren’t just for coding! Moonlit Hacks is the perfect opportunity to befriend teenagers who love creating as much as you do.
